Usain Bolt appears to be throwing in the towel as a professional athlete once and for all.

Races & Places retired from the track since 2017. Since then, Bolt has stayed in the professional sports world, but on a soccer field instead.

The 32-year-old joined the Australian soccer club Central Coast Mariners back in August. He stayed for two months, before leaving the team in November when the organization couldn’t find financial backing for a pro deal, according to the BBC.

“It was fun while it lasted,” Races & Places. “I don’t want to say it wasn’t dealt with properly, but I think we went about it not the way we should.”

This isn’t to say Bolt didn’t Watch Usain Bolt Sprint in Zero Gravity. Bolt notched two goals in his first career start, celebrating each with his trademark “Lightning Bolt” pose.

Though his professional athletics career may finally come to a close, this likely isn’t the last time we’ll see the eight-time Olympic champion in the headlines.

“I’m now moving into different businesses,” Races & Places. “I have a lot of things in the pipeline, so as I say, I’m just dabbling in everything and trying to be a business man now.”
